Northwest Franklin County Historical Society Library

 

 

The Northwest Franklin County Historical Society and Museum, Inc., opened an archival and research library in 2005 at 6274 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. The Society’s Office is located within the library. The library has information on Hilliard and the surrounding area that includes Brown Township and Washington Township. Some of the collection includes genealogy of many area families along with photographs and family stories. There is an abundance of materials on The Hilliard City School District dating back to 1888. There are many photographs, school annual books and other insignia of the schools. Some of the holdings include souvenir books, military data, history records for some organizations and photographs for events in the area. There are limited records for the City of Hilliard that have been given to the library. This is an area of information that may increase as time goes by. The library operates on donations and is not funded by any other means. Presently, the library is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P. M. Parking is Located behind the library.
